Every trip is custom-built around you, because your time on the water should feel like your own slice of the Keys. We’ll even have a GoPro onboard so you can capture a few of those moments to take home with you.

Captain James Wood is a certified USCG Captain and longtime Dive Instructor who has been exploring the Florida Keys for over 20 years. He knows these waters like the back of his hand — from hidden mangrove trails to colorful reef spots. Whether he’s steering the boat for AquaLife Charters or leading private snorkeling tours, Captain James loves sharing his favorite places and helping families enjoy unforgettable Key Largo boat experiences, discovering the beauty and adventure of the Keys, one splash at a time!
Meet “Tailspin”!
Tailspin is our 23-foot Century center console designed for adventure and comfort on the water, perfect for AquaLife Charters. She’s the ideal size for families or small groups — accommodating up to six guests with ample space to stretch out, stash your gear, and soak up the sun. With a freshwater rinse and shower option, along with an easy-access dive ladder, she’s built for snorkeling, swimming, and creating unforgettable memories during your private snorkeling tours in the stunning waters of Key Largo.
Location
Our charters depart from a private waterfront dock in Key Largo, allowing for quick access to the reef and surrounding waters. Guests will receive detailed directions and arrival instructions after booking.
Our pickup location is private, so there are no public restrooms on-site. If needed, several nearby gas stations have restrooms available before you arrive.

Staying with our friends at Stay Ombi? With AquaLife Charters, we coordinate directly with you to provide seamless Key Largo boat experiences. We can pick you up right from your bungalow dock, ensuring your private snorkeling tours begin easily the moment you step outside.
